Householders are being warned not to miss out on their chance to vote in the forthcoming general election.
Those not on the electoral register will not be able to vote on May 7.
As well as going to a polling station, voters can post their ballot paper, or vote by proxy, which means authorising someone to vote on their behalf should they be on holiday or incapacitated.
Thursday, February 5 marks National Voters Registration Day and an event will be held from 11am to 3pm in Tesco, Shenley Road, giving people the chance to register.
Those attending will need to bring their national insurance numbers.
Visit www.hertsmere.gov.uk/registertovote for more information and to apply to register or call Electoral Services on 020 8207 7481.
