A third man has been arrested in connection with the unexplained death of a man from Potters Bar.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man from Romford today as part of Operation Pinene, the investigation into the death of Milton Papadopoulos, 41, who was found dead at home in Parkfield View, Potters Bar, on October 22.

A 42-year-old man from Romford and a 36-year-old man from Havering were arrested on December 14 and December 12 respectively, and both remain on police bail.

A 45-year-old man from Hoddesdon, who was arrested on November 29, will face no further action.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins said: “We are continuing to follow a number of lines of inquiry in relation to the death of Milton and this latest arrest forms part of this.

“We believe the circumstances surrounding the death are suspicious and we are very keen to hear from anyone who believes they have information about what may have happened. Any detail, however seemingly insignificant, may prove very useful to our investigation, so please don’t hesitate getting in contact, either directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers.”

Detectives also want to hear from anyone who has information about a white Vauxhall Combo van which had no tax disc displayed and a ladder over the driver’s side, which was seen in the area two days prior to the discovery of Milton’s body.

The van was displaying number plates that read T531 RFE, which are known to be false. It is possible the van may have been parked in the Potters Bar area and the registration plates changed.
