Sainsbury’s in Potters Bar has raised £100 for children with special needs.
Colleagues Emma Stokes and Luke Georgiou, who work at the branch in Darkes Lane, handed the donation to the Potters Bar Children with Special Needs Group earlier this week.
The cash has been raised through the supermarket’s community budget scheme, and from sales of reusable bags.
Store manager Paul Stephens said: ‘Our store is at the heart of the local community and it is important we can play our part to support it.”
