With the General Election just one month away, the Times Series has put together an overview of the candidates vying for your vote in Chipping Barnet.

The seat covers the electoral wards of Brunswick Park, Coppetts, East Barnet, High Barnet, Oakleigh, Totteridge and Underhill.

Chipping Barnet has been represented by the Conservatives since it was created in 1974, and since 2005 has been held by Northern Ireland Secretary Theresa Villiers, who won a majority of 11,927 at the 2010 election, claiming 48.8 per cent of the vote.

Labour came second last time, with 25.2 per cent of the vote, and the Liberal Democrats third with 20.2 per cent.

UKIP and the Green Party received 2.8 per cent and two per cent respectively.

Ms Villiers will contest the seat on May 7 against Labour Party candidate and Underhill councillor Amy Trevethan, AM Poppy for the Green Party, small businessman Victor Kaye for UKIP and Marisha Ray for the Liberal Democrats.
