The jury in the trial of a police marksman who shot and killed Azelle Rodney has been sent home early.

Anthony Long, 58 is standing trial at the Old Bailey over the killing of Azelle Rodney, 24, in Hale Lane, Edgware in April 2005.

The jury retired yesterday to consider its verdict but has been sent home early today. It will return tomorrow.

Online posts on Twitter suggested the jury was sent home because a juror is unwell.
