Mayoral candidates hoping to represent Barnet and Camden will take part in a hustings.

Barnet’s St John the Baptist Church in Wood Street will host the live event tonight (April 28) from 8pm.

The evening will begin with a short introduction from each candidate and an hour Q&A session will follow.

Candidates are all hoping to be elected to the GLA on May 5.

Labour AM Andrew Dismore will join Joseph Langton of the UKIP Party, Zack Polanski of the Liberal Democrats, Stephen Taylor of the Green Party and Conservative candidate Daniel Thomas tonight.

Organiser Ewan Fraser said: “We want to make it an enjoyable evening, and we will make sure that the meeting does not go on for too long! After the meeting, there will be refreshments and the chance for an informal chat for those who are able to stay.

It will be chaired by Dr Bob Burstow, a former teacher at retired from Kings College London and the rector will be Fr Chris Ferris.
