A MILL Hill student is ecstatic at receiving an incredible 11 A* grades at GCSE level.

Paniz Dogaheh, 16, said she was nervous to pick up her results from Mill Hill County School on Thursday August 26.

Paniz said: "It feels a bit weird, but I’m really ecstatic about my results. It still feels surreal, I have been working towards this my whole life.

"I was always aiming for those results, but I was so nervous when I turned up and waited in the queue at school.

"I pushed it to the back of my mind, so it only really hit me on the day.

"When I called my dad to tell him, he put the phone down because he just couldn't believe it. My English teacher said he was proud of me too, which was so nice to hear."

Paniz will study Maths, Biology, Chemistry and French at Henrietta Barnett School in Hampstead.

Her father, Davood Dogaheh who has lived in the area for 28 years, said: "I am very proud. She didn't want me to go with her to pick up her results, so I waited for a call.

"It was a real shock. I was expecting good grades but not as much as 11 A* grades."
