There has been a lot of talk recently about moving towards a fairer society.
However, I find it particularly galling when I read of councillors having rises way above inflation, when music services for the borough’s young people are to be cut in the next school year.
Young people only have a limited time in their lives to sample opportunities such as extra-curricular music.
Now is surely not the time for extra rewards for some, when educational services for the young are being cut. Please can we reassess our priorities?
