Wingate and Finchley have slipped to eighth place after being beaten 2-0 twice in the space of a week, though Danny Nielsen’s side do have two games in hand on some of the sides above them.
On Tuesday, fifth-placed Met Police made the trip to the Harry Abrahams Stadium and took all three points in a 2-0 win.
Michael Charles got the Met’s opener after 27 minutes, before Jack Knight killed the game off with two minutes remaining.
The Blues were also beaten 2-0 at Leatherhead on Saturday, with Carl Rook lobbing home the opener, before tapping in a second to cap the win.
