Andy Yiadom and Sam Togwell will be fit for Barnet's visit from Cambridge United on Saturday but Graham Stack and Kevin Lisbie will miss out.

All four missed Tuesday night's League Cup exit at Wolverhampton Wanderers but vice-captain Yiadom, who had been suffering with a bruised foot, and midfielder Togwell, a bruised shin, will be involved when the U's come to The Hive.

Allen made six changes for the trip to Molineux and even switched to three at the back in an attempt to stifle the Championship side.

"It has given me food for thought now those players are back available," said Allen. "Now those players are available we will be able to put out our strongest and probably play our Barnet way."

The game will come too soon for goalkeeper Stack (groin), though, and after playing through discomfort at Bristol Rovers on Saturday, the 33-year-old will now spend time on the sidelines recovering.

"[Under-18s goalkeeper] Kai McKenzie-Lyle will step up to sit on the bench and Jamie Stephens will play on Saturday," said Allen.

"Jamie played seven times last season for Newport County and I got a great reference about him from Justin Edinburgh.

"He has done really well in training. Graham Stack is a loss because he is a such a huge influence and was Goalkeeper of the Year in the Conference last year. Now Jamie has got the chance to do his bit."

Allen continued: "Jamie is a brilliant shot-stopper. There are times in training when you wonder 'How the hell did he get that?' He is a good size, a good presence and I have got no qualms about playing him.

I thought he played with confidence on Tuesday and we played a different way to how we played normally, but he carried himself very well."

Cambridge United are seventh in League Two after falling to their first defeat of the new season at home to Crawley Town on Saturday.

But Allen knows Richard Money's side will pose a stern test for the Bees and expect the U's, in just their second season back in the Football League, to finish well this season.

He said: "I remember playing away against them just after I had joined; that team went on to win at Wembley.

"Richard Money is a good manager and this team will be a top-six team, there is no doubt about that. With the players they have recruited and what they pay out you would expect it. So for us to go up against them is a real challenge and one I am looking forward to."

Two players who will be familiar to U's supporters are Tom Champion and Michael Nelson, both of whom joined the Bees on free transfers this summer after leaving the Abbey Stadium.

But Allen says he has not been able to glean too much from the pair following their time with Saturday's opponents.

"I have picked up a little bit," he said. "But you can get the games online now. It has been well-documented we have not got any scouts at Barnet so it is about getting in front of a screen, watching the opposition and getting little bits and pieces to transfer over to the players.

"All through last season we had no scouts and we just focused on what we were going to play and what we were going to do."

Cambridge could be without midfielder Keith Keane through illness whilst another summer signing, Jeff Hughes, will miss out with an ankle problem.

Five-goal top scorer Barry Corr (ankle) is also a doubt. The Irish striker missed last Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Crawley Town.

Speaking to the Cambridge News, boss Money said: "He'd have strapped it up and played last week and he'll be wanting to strap it up and play this week.

"But we can't put him in a situation where we make him miss a longer period.

"He has a chance for the weekend, but it's more likely he'll join the group next week."

Meanwhile, former Fulham and Leyton Orient defender Elliot Omozusi could miss out with earache.
